Oeuf Fall/Winter Knit Collection

I love the look of knits on both boys and girls.  I'm excited to get my little man back into the cozy and warm clothes.  This collection has amazing style because it's fun and creative with the details.  I love the color selection they chose with the muted aqua and mustard yellow colors mixed with neutrals.  They kept a little vintage touch along with the whimsical fantasies kids have with superhero's.  Enjoy.

The 2011/2012 look book is ready to view, but not up for sale yet.  Lots of great pieces.

I finally got the energy to make little Tom Sawyer pants
like I said I was going to do after the knickers(Post ).
Nolan is sleeping so I haven't done the final fitting.
Hope they fit and here's a peak.

Think.Design.Cut.Sew.

Vintage inspired overalls made from Derek's old and comfy dress shirt.  The material is super soft and breezy.  Wish I had a pair.
Hope no one looks too close. I am not great at the detailed work, but it's fun to design clothes for Nolan.

Have a wonderful night!bw

Garden Party Fashion Shows

I've never been to a real fashion show, and I probably never will.  I thought these were pretty fun to watch and look at because they bring a bit of the outdoors into them.  If you just want to see the outfits all at once you can fast forward to the end.

Gotta love babies and their little toes peeking out

I finally found some sandals that I really like for little boys.  There are a lot out there but none that I really liked.  These have great style, quality, comfort, and aren't cheesy.  I wouldn't pass any of these up if they were on a good sale rack.

Shopping withdrawals

I haven't been clothes shopping in awhile.  I know that may sound somewhat false to Derek, but it seems that every time I have money to spend...I gravitate toward things for the house or Nolan.  That is what I really enjoy doing, but every time I look in my closet I tend to have second thoughts about my choices.  Most of my clothes that are summery are getting a little outdated. I am not saying that I don't have clothes that I like..I just like to have a few new shirts or dresses to wear during the summer months.  However, I chose to stay at home and must find other means to finding what I want with different prices.  I love looking online at places like JCrew, Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, and Free People.  Of Course they are way too expensive for the average family, so I try to find those clothes at overstock stores or similar styles at Marshalls,TJMaxx, and Forever 21.

I'm hoping this post will make me feel like I already went shopping and maybe I will save the money for later.  Derek is graduating from a management school for credit unions and I get to go to his graduation.  The graduation just so happens to be very close to IKEA.  Whoopsies.
Maybe I can some how do half of both shopping spree's.
Which will probably get me now where, but it's fun to think about.

ANYWAY, GOING TO BE LOOKING FOR THE FOLLOWING STYLES

Vintage dress
I love a few comfy tanks like this one

cute but wish they had a peek-a-boo toe area

Seems like a comfy must-have

Laptop case
I like the idea of having a trendy backpack as a diaper bag
Diaper bag

Backpack as diaper bag

Well, that was fun shopping for me. I think it's working and I feel less anxious.
Hope it's given you some ideas for your own summer wardrobe.

Spring and Summer Clothes for Toddler Boys

I have been looking for some new spring and summer clothes for Nolan.  I came across some that I would love to have for him.  I think they are sweet like a baby and yet still keeping the little boy feel.  I have a hard time finding clothes for him...maybe because I am so picky, but I don't like clothes that try and make him look like my husband would dress.  I still want him to feel like a 1 year old and I prefer to not have too many words or sayings on them.  Definitely not the "Momma's boy" or "Daddy's My Hero." The cheesy sayings to me are not cute.  Here are some finds that I would love to replicate some how either by sewing some myself or by finding similar styles in thrift stores and tweaking them to my liking.  They are all pretty expensive, but there are ways to get these styles without spending a fortune.  LOVE LOVE LOVE!
